Bimbra 4×4 is a well-known name when it comes to off-road equipment for SUVs and pick-up trucks.   In the past, we have covered several Mahinda Thars that have been modified by Bimbra 4×4. Here, we have two Hilux pick-up trucks that have been modified by the famous modification shop.

As we can see, there are two Hilux pick-up trucks in the pictures. Both of them have been modified extensively. The cost of modifications is not shared on the Facebook post but you can contact Bimbra 4×4 at 8567856738 for more information, installation and cost.

The first Hilux is fitted with a 2-inch lift kit by Profender. The kit comes with upper control arms, front coil springs, adjust gas shocks and extra leaf springs. A roll cage by Hamer has been installed that will give some protection to the occupants in case of a rollover. Moreover, it comes with an LED brake light and 2 deck LED lights. There is a tailgate spoiler and door visors.

The rear bumper is from Hamer and the model name is Mx 204. It includes reverse LED lights and is also compatible with rear parking sensors and a tow hook. The shop has also installed Shadow side steps, underbody protection and a Tow Ball. All three are from Hamer. On the sides, there are 18-inch alloy wheels from Fuel. They are wrapped in BFGoodrich KO2 which measures 285 60 R18.

Then we move on to the second Hilux. It gets an automatic Hamer roller shutter that comes with deck LED light. There is a titanium roll bar with an LED brake light. The front and rear bumpers are from Hamer. The front one belongs to the King series and gets a winch and is compatible with parking sensors. It also comes with fog lamps, Daytime Running Lamps and turn indicators.

The rear bumper is Mx 201 and it is also compatible with rear parking sensors and a tow hook. The tail gate also gets a central lock and Line-X Underlip bedliner. On the sides, there are 18-inch alloy wheels by Fuel but they are of different designs. They are also wrapped in BFGoodrich KO2 but the tyre size is different. It measures 265 60 R18. Then there are side steps from Hamer. They are Sm102.

There are some modifications that are common in both pick-up trucks. The front grille and side mirrors have been de-chromed. 8T Heavy Duty Shackles on the front bumper have been installed on both trucks.

There are no mechanical changes to any of the Hilux. So, both of them are equipped with the same 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine that we have seen on the Fortuner facelift. It produces 204 Ps of max power and 420 Nm if you get the 6-speed manual gearbox or 500 Nm if you get the 6-speed automatic transmission. A 4×4 system comes as standard on both gearbox options.

The Hilux is offered in three variants. There is Standard, High and High AT. The Standard is priced at Rs. 33.99 lakhs, High is priced at Rs. 35.80 lakhs and the High AT costs Rs. 36.80 lakhs. All the prices are ex-showroom.
